At bun(ə) coffee, we’re passionate about offering the finest quality, ethically sourced coffee beans from the East African region. The ቡን in our logo translates to bun(ə), which means coffee, a much-loved culture within the Eritrean and Ethiopian region of East Africa.

Growing up in the rich culture of coffee ceremonies, drinking from the favoured Ethiopian Sidamo beans, our love for coffee from the East African region began. Ethiopia is renowned worldwide as a country blessed with a history of coffee cultivation and even recognised as the birthplace of coffee. Legend has it a young goat herder from the Kaffa region in Ethiopia, called Kaldi, first discovered coffee in the ninth century. You can read more about Kaldi's discovery here.

We’re incredibly proud of our carefully selected, ethically sourced coffee quality, and the variety of flavour notes bun(ə) coffee has to offer. So, whether you prefer Robusta or Arabica, we guarantee you’ll fall in love with our East African selection. There’s no better way to enjoy your brew in its most authentic form than experiencing the richness of East African coffee with bun(ə) coffee.
